Interested in photography since the early 80’s and my first SLR was a Canon 5000 – not the digital version but one that took film! Can you image the restriction of using 12,24 or 36 images per roll! Then waiting to send it off or take it into Boots and getting it back a few days or even a week later! How things have changed since those days?
Nowadays we think nothing of using 8Gig or higher cards, I am sure that somewhere I still have some 256meg cards. I do keep meaning to revisit those cards just for the sheer physical limit it places on the images taken. However I am not a fan of the machine gun approach to photography, take less and better, rather than the take many and hope approach!
